Also many local truck stops, including Flying J at I-10 Exit 208, have free dump stations and water, along with propane and discounted fuel for Flying J members. There are no sewer hookups but there is a dump station. There are several 30 amp water and electric hookups and one dry site. There is plenty of parking, including for large RVs, but there is space for only a limited number them, so be sure to call ahead if youre planning on sleeping in your rig. A new conversation pool and a volleyball pool have been added. Natural desert plants, including dozens of giant saguaro cacti are all over the grounds at Mira Vista, adding to the southwest ambiance. The temperature is also adjusted according to the season of the year, with it being warmer in winter and cooler in summer, part of the fine tuning for guest comfort that Mira Vista is all about. The temperature is just perfect for those hot days - refreshing, but not too warm. Its well shaded but at night, enough moonlight and starlight come in to make it a special experience. The hot tub is in a huge stone arched structure entwined with plants. Showers and toilets just off to the side. At night, lights make the whole area a fantasy land. A lovely waterfall flows and lulls poolside loungers to sleep. The pool area has many comfortable chaise lounges, some in the sun and some in partial shade, but it also has a huge shaded cabana for those wishing to be outside but not in the sun.
